What this site is

A place to read what Starcamp is, to join the free community on Discord, and to leave your address if you want word when the rest opens. That is the whole of what this site does today.

Starcamp itself is three parts: the free community, open now; Star, the paid membership, in the making; and guides you will be able to book an hour with. Only the first of the three is open.

Nothing here is for sale

There is no checkout on this site, no account to open, and nothing to book. No price is charged, no payment details are taken, and no money moves in either direction. Anything you read here about Star, about a Starcamp, or about guides describes what is being built — not something you can buy today.

If you are ever asked to pay for something on a page carrying the Starcamp name, it is not us, and we would like to know about it.

The community on Discord

The free community is open to anyone and runs on Discord, under Discord's own terms as well as ours. Be someone the room is glad to have: share what you are making, answer when you can, and leave people better off than you found them.

We can remove anyone from the community who abuses the people in it. That decision is made by a person, and the reason is given.

The address you leave

Use one that is yours. In return it is used for what the form said and nothing else — a word back from Refael, and first word when the paid parts open. It is not sold, not passed on, and not used to advertise to you. The privacy page has the whole of it.

Ask at any time and it is deleted.

Money, today

None moves. Starcamp holds no payment details, takes no payment, and pays nobody out. When that changes, these terms are replaced first and the whole arrangement is written down plainly — who holds the money, for how long, and what happens when something goes wrong — before anyone is asked for a card.

How old you have to be

The free community is 13 and over, which is Discord's own floor and not ours to lower. Star, when it opens, will be 16 and over. A guide works one to one only with someone 18 or over.

What a session will never be

When sessions open, they run on the guide's own tool, between the two of you. They are never recorded, never transcribed, and never have an AI sitting in them. That is settled now, in advance, so it cannot quietly become a feature later.

What this site does not promise

It is early, and it is built in the open — on Twitch, most days. Pages change, dates move, and parts of what you read here are a description of the plan rather than of something finished. Where that is true, the page says so.

The site is offered as it is. We cannot promise it is never down, and nothing here is professional advice.

Early days

These terms are short because Starcamp is small. They will be replaced by longer ones before anything is charged, and the replacement will be announced rather than slipped in. What will not change: the session is yours, the record is honest, and the money story is told straight.
