What I learned
Three months with Claude.
- 3months
- 9things
- 6tools of my own
- 1tool: Claude Code
Use
- A GitHub project from China that upscales images.
- Claude read it, set it up and ran it for me, free.
- It does what the paid upscaling apps sell.
- GitHub, Netlify and the rest cost nothing at the start.
- With Claude Code you learn to use them yourself instead of paying for apps that hide them.
- You pay when you are big, not while you learn.
- React Bits is a catalog of animated web pieces.
- I showed Claude the catalog once and kept it as a skill.
- Now it installs the right piece, the right way, every time.
Connect
- An API is how one app talks to another.
- Claude connected Google Maps into my own app.
- Then we tuned it to exactly what I needed.
- Setting up a server by hand is a huge hassle.
- Claude wrote a bot that built every channel, in order, copy included.
- The Starcamp server you can join today came out of it.
- An MCP is a connection that gives Claude a new ability.
- Load too many and every turn burns tokens.
- Manage them well and you build more for the same budget. Dora is one of mine.
Build
- A local Whisper model turns my voice into text on my own machine.
- Claude Code built the app around it, icon and ring included.
- One subscription fewer, and it works exactly my way.
- The door is the opening film of this site.
- Built one screen at a time, the same way as everything here.
- The thing on this site I am proudest of.
- My own desktop app for running Claude agents from cards.
- It takes care of tests and GitHub on its own.
- It started as a few skills and workflow files.
- What got in the wayThings broke. Often. Each time, I built a small fix with Claude.Today I do not need those fixes. I got better at this.
Inspiration, and Claude Code every day.
One BridgeMind stream changed how I use Claude. Showing up daily did the rest.
