What is Starcamp?

A place for people who are not developers to build their own tools with AI, together and in the open. It comes in three parts: a free community on Discord, Star the paid membership, and guides you can book for an hour one on one.

What is free, and what is paid?

The community on Discord is free and open to anyone, today.

Two things will be paid, and neither is open yet. Star, the membership, includes a place in a Starcamp, one at a time. An hour with a guide is bought on its own, with no membership needed. Neither has a price or a date yet, and nothing on this site can be bought.

How do I join right now?

Join the Discord from the link at the bottom of any page. No account here, no payment.

To hear first when the paid parts open, leave your email on the homepage. That is the only list, and no newsletter comes with it.

What is a Starcamp?

Six people and one guide, for eight weeks. Each person builds their own thing in their own real life or work, and once a week the group meets for about an hour to show what they built and say where they got stuck.

Everyone finishes, nobody is ranked against anybody, and what you keep is what you built.

How are guides chosen?

Every guide is met live before they can be listed. They bring something real they are working on, and someone from Starcamp watches them work through it. Practice is the credential.

Before the first guide is listed, the limits on cancelled and missed sessions are published. Crossing one opens a review, and a person decides what follows.

What happens in an hour with a guide?

One hour on your real work, at your level, on the tool your guide works in. Nothing in it is recorded or transcribed, and no AI sits in. That holds from the first hour anyone books.

What you can count on

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts. Nothing here watches you read it.

It keeps only what you send through a form: your email address, and a message if you write one on the contact page. It is used to write back and to tell the list when the paid parts open, and it is never sold or passed on. The privacy page has the whole of it.

To have it deleted, write to admin@starcamp.ai and a person does it.

I want to guide. How does that work?

There is nothing to apply to yet. Write to admin@starcamp.ai with what you work on and the level you take people at, or say it in the community on Discord. When the bench opens, you bring something real to a live meeting.

When something goes wrong

Write to admin@starcamp.ai, or use the contact page, and say what happened. A person reads it, Refael answers, and you hear back about what is being done.
