How your data is handled
Short, because the site collects almost nothing — and here is the whole of what it does.

What this site collects
One thing: what you type into a form here. That is your email address, and — on the contact page — the message you write alongside it. Nothing is asked for and nothing is taken unless you fill a form in and send it.
Sent with it is the moment it arrived, and which form it came from: a note from the contact page is kept apart from the list. On the list, one address is one entry, and joining twice does not make a second one. Each note from the contact page is kept as its own.
What it does not collect
No cookies. Not one, of any kind — not for sign-in, not for preferences, not for anything. The site also stores nothing in your browser and runs no analytics, no tag manager, and no third-party scripts. There is nothing here to turn off, which is why you have never been asked to accept anything.
No account, because there are no accounts. No name, no location, no payment details, no profile. The site cannot build a picture of you across visits, because it keeps nothing that would let it.
To stop one address flooding the inbox, the site counts how many times an address has been submitted from the same internet connection in the past hour. It is a running count and nothing else — no browsing, no pages you looked at, and no record of it kept beside your entry.
Where it goes
Into a database belonging to this site, and into email. Join the list and one email goes to you, confirming it; join again and a short note says you are already on it. A note from the contact page sends you nothing automated. A copy of each new sign-up and each note goes to Refael at the contact address, because a message from a person should be read by a person.
Four companies touch it on the way, and only these four: Netlify, which hosts the site; Neon, which holds the database; Resend, which delivers the emails; and Google Workspace, where the contact address lands. Nobody else is sent it, it is not sold, and it is not used to advertise to you anywhere.
How long it is kept, and how to have it gone
Until you ask for it to go, or until Starcamp has no use for it — whichever comes first. There is no self-service button for this yet, and rather than invent one on a page, here is the honest version: write and ask, and a person deletes it.

The Discord community
The free community runs on Discord, which is not us. What you post there, and what Discord holds about your account, sits under Discord's own privacy terms — this page cannot speak for them. Reading this site never tells the community anything about you; the two are not joined.
When the paid parts open
Star, a Starcamp, and an hour with a guide will need more than an address — at least a way to sign in and a way to pay. When that is built, this page is rewritten before it opens, not after, and it will name every new thing held and every new company that touches it.
One promise is already settled and will not move: a session is never recorded, never transcribed, and never has an AI sitting in it. That is an edict, not a feature waiting its turn.
